Re: [Xen-users] Re: Xen4 on Debian Lenny - Migration completed

Another solution is to execute "make dist".
This Makefile target will copy install.sh into dist dir (upon many other things like building documentation). But then, you'll get kernels built, which is not something I wanted.

I'll update my howto with this information.

Hello olivier,
That's right, install.sh is not in dist directory.
But you can find it in xen root dir.
Then move it into dist directory before building archive. It should do
the trick

Just a question : with "make xen" and "make tools", I haven't an
"install.sh" script in my folder. No more luck with a locate. Should I
need to make install ? (it's not precise in your howto).

Olivier.

Hello,
Just a quick word to advice you that I successfully installed Xen 4 on
Debian Lenny.
Everything worked like a charm.

My 2 nodes cluster is fully powered with Xen4 since this evening.

I'll publish an howto as soon as possible and will keep you updated.

Many thanks for your work. Regards,
JB
