Re: [Xen-users] XCP and VM Recovery

You can't move VMs from any host after it fails. What you have to do, after
making one of the other hosts pool master, is to reset the power state of the
VMs from the failed host to halted so they can be restarted. This is what my
host-watchdog does.

Subject: [Xen-users] XCP and VM Recovery

I have two hosts in a pool with an SR that both can access.

I can migrate VM's between the two hosts with no issues.

BUT, if I lose the master of the pool and VMs are currently on the master. I
am unable to move the VMs to the other host even after running xe
pool-emergency-transition-master.

I am at a loss here.

can anyone help me out with this dilemma?

Thanks
