In xend-config.sxp you need to turn off (comment out) the network-script and vif-script line.

if one vlan should be used in dom0 only you can use something like that:

auto eth0.2
iface eth0.2 inet manual
        mtu 1500
        vlan_raw_device eth0
        address 192.168.50.50
        netmask 255.255.255.0

without the bridge part.

If you want to use the bridges in a domU, you need this in domU cfg file (example):

vif = [ 'bridge=xenbr5, mac=00:16:3e:05:31:50', 'bridge=xenbr15, mac=00:16:3e:02:31:50' ]

With this setting you have 2 Interfaces in the domU. First tagged for vlan5 and second for vlan15.
