I tried netchannel2 support myself and i consider netchannel2 as unstable at the very moment. Also it is not documented at the moment. I don't know if someone tried to use it lately. On Mon, 2010-06-07 at 16:20 +0400, eXeC001er wrote:Hi all. Can you explain to me what is the device 'VIF2' ? I can not find any info about it on Xen web site. Thanks.Hello, VIF is virtual interface (virtual network card of virtual machine). You can find out more here for example - http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenNetworking (although it might be not completely up to date, it should give you the general meaning). My experience of netchannel2-Device is, the very moment, traffic traverses the device, i get a kernel panic and a complete freeze for my complete host. Did anyone experience netchannel2 and xen 4.0?
