On way ... use OpenSuse 11.2 as Dom0:

uname -a
  Linux server 2.6.34-44-xen #1 SMP 2010-06-03 18:33:51 +0200 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

In my experience, passthrough works perfectly.
