[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [Xen-users] Remus Users?
Is there a separate Remus Users' list? I haven't found one yet. If not... a Remus question: Is it true that the main and backup servers have to be on the same subnet - XXX.YYY.ZZZ.* ? Or even more restricted than that, that they have to be connected by hardwire somehow, with no intermediate switches? Our primary reason for thinking of Remus is catastrophic fail-over for important servers like license servers and such, which are accessed globally. If the main and backup servers have to be in the same building and it gets hit by a tornado which blows them both away Remus isn't going to help much. Does anyone have Remus working on SuSE 10.1? If so, what kernel did you use? Thanks in advance. -k Kenn Lippert Computation & Simulation Modeling, Product Manufacturing Division Alcoa Technical Center.
