[Xen-users] REF: Question about Networking!!

I just setup XCP and installed Ubuntu Server 10.10 and my server has two NICs...my question is:

 

1. When I setup one NIC the other NIC gets the same settings also, is thi correct all am doing it wrongly.

 

2. I gave it a static IP in my case and I setup the Ubuntu to be a router but weiredly, the NIC connected to the ISP apearntly the ping times are very high but when i connect the laptop ping times are very low. So was thinking its the way II setup the network configurations on the XCP???

 

Please assist.
