Dustin, I'm back. In the interim I've secured two loaner NICs from Intel that support SR-IOV. Problem I'm now having is that my VM dies right after the interfaces are brought up when I enable the technology. My VM is CentOS 5.5. Have you or do you know someone that has gotten SR-IOV working on an XCP base and if so, what was used for the guest OS? Thanks! -----Original Message----- From: xen-users-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:xen-users-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dustin Marquess Sent: Tuesday, April 19, 2011 12:33 PM To: Hoot Thompson Cc: xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [Xen-users] XCP Linux Para virtualization 10 GigE interfaces First step is to run the script under "Disable CheckSum Offload" @ http://www.xenappblog.com/2010/citrix-xenserver-slow-network-performance/ Second step is to tweak your TCP stack for 10 GigE. Something like: http://staff.psc.edu/benninge/networking/10GbE/parameters.html This will help. But to get near native speeds you're going to have to go SR-IOV. That's really the only way to get high speed networking in a VM setup. -Dustin On Tue, Apr 19, 2011 at 7:04 AM, Hoot Thompson <hoot@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > My test system consists of two XCP 1.0 nodes plus an Ubuntu frontend running > OpenXenManager.
