Hi Mark,
After adding
a host to a pool, when the pool master has a NIC
bond on it, the bond will be created on the joining
host, but there is one issue. If the management
interface is one of the NICs in the bond, you will
have to manually tell the host to use the bonded NIC
as the new management interface. In XenCenter, you
can do that on the Networking tab.
This worked perfectly, thank you Rob. Since you were so
helpful with that question, do you happen to know anything
on my second one, which was what happens after the 30-day
grace period that XenCenter is warning me about? I'm
assuming that for XCP those warnings are just cosmetic and
nothing changes on day 31?
Thanks again for the help, I was out of ideas...
Yes, in XCP 1.0 these warnings are harmless. XCP 1.1 beta has a
known issue where the licensing bit of xapi was accidentally left
"turned-on". This will be resolved in XCP 1.1 final, but the
harmless XenCenter nag dialog will probably still appear.
