RE: [Xen-users] XCP change IP of NFS shared repo

Shutdown all the vms on the nfs store.
Unplug and destroy the pbd for the sr.
Recreate the pbd for the sr with new device-config:server= option.
Plug in new pbd.

If you are using XenCenter or the like, after destroying the pbd you may be
able to right click the sr and select reconnect. A dialog will pop up where you
can put in the new IP.

You'll have to do this to each host in the pool if you have more than one.

Subject: [Xen-users] XCP change IP of NFS shared repo

Hello there,

Just wondering is there anyway to change the server IP/name for an already
configured/attached shared NFS repository?

Want to configure separate NIC for storage only and it would be easier to
change the IP of the storage nodes and the associated entry in the xcp db, than
that of the xcp hosts and all VMs...

Thanks,

Ciaran.
