Re: [Xen-users] Re: XCP unable to migrate Fedora15 VM (tools installed, but don't show to be)

I get an error saying the tools aren't installed. I've tried two or three times (rebooting after each) and
the CLI says "Tools already installed", but XCP doesn't see them. Is there a trick to getting this
done with Fedora?

Which version of XCP are you using? Is this an HVM guest? Can you migrate using the CLI, but not using OpenXenManager?
I also have a FreeBSD server with the XENHVM pv drivers compiled into the kernel, but it also
shows in OpenXenManager as "Tools not installed". Any help here is also appreciated.
I don't know anything about the XENHVM pv drivers, so I'm going out on a limb here. I'm guessing that those drivers work well with plain Xen, but that they don't advertise themselves to XCP the way that XCP expects them too. Maybe someone else with more FreeBSD on XCP experience can help out here.
