Hi all,

i have a problem to execute Gnome GUI on a virtual machine on xcp 1.0.

When I execute startx I obtain:

_XSERVTransSocketOpenCOTSServer: Unable to open socket for inet6

_XSERVTransOpen: transport open failed for inet6/mathematica:0

I have installed Gnome with:

yum groupinstall “X Window System” “GNOME Desktop Environment”

I read the following solution :

“I installed CentOS 5.2 using the other option instead of the Xen template. Once I did this CentOS was able to detect the video card that I had installed and I was able to complete the installation successfully.”

Does anyone knows a solution to fix this problem without reinstall the virtual machine?

Regards

Simone Cariani
