Are you also using some type o bonding/bridging (e.g. STP)???

standard linux bridging
can Open vSwitch help?

What is your hardware?

intel server S3210SH,cpu intel E8400, intel nic 82541GI (e1000e driver, tried last 2.0.0 version from e1000.sf.net)

Are you using IOMMU (DMA vitualization)???

imho no

We had similar issues while using bonding + IOMMU on DELL R715.

Switching OFF DMA virtualization in BIOS magically cured this problem.

there isn't this option in bios

i forgot write about domU. it's centos 6.2 32-bit

GB
I have a domU which is losing incoming network connectivity after 'some
period of inactivity'

if i log over console and ping any ip then network goes up magically

i found this thread but no solution
http://lists.xen.org/archives/html/xen-users/2010-02/msg00455.html

centos5(kernel-xen 2.6.18) x86-64 + xen 4.1.2 from gitco
i'm using VLANs

any advice?
