I was wondering if someone could direct me to a resource or provide their own insights to differences between Xen and XCP.   I have used Xen to go virtual on a majority of my infrastructure (Except for one NT 4 box) and was wondering if going with XCP would bring about any major benefits?

For instance, f- rom what I understand from what I have read, XCP allows you to create resource pools.  The part of this I don't understand is if one VM can spread across the entire pool or if it will still be tied to one piece of hardware in the pool (CPU and Memory as storage will be on a NAS / SAN anyways)?

Thank you in advance.
