Re: [Xen-users] Error:bridge-utils are not installing

If you know for a fact you have internet access, I would check your aptitute sources in /etc/apt/sources.list, it is possible the mirror you are using went down temporarily.

Have aptitude refresh its sources with "aptitude update", then run a search "aptitude search bridge-" and see if you get anything.

hi all,
I was following Xen beginners Guid. I downloaded , burnt on cd and installed Debian squeeze
on 64 bit x86 machine. my problem is that i'm stuck at 'setup the linux bridge ' step.
whenever I issue the command " aptitude install bridge-utils", its output told me that there is no
package exist which could be matched with bridge-utils. I've checked its networking. ping is working fine.
As I'm in LAN, I've configured eth0 properly. But can't understand why I'm not able to install bridge-utils?

Thanks
