[Xen-users] server2008rebooting trouble

I have servers 2008 running on xen 4.2 and 4.3  and the instances will never reboot. Option vcpu=1 will cause freeze on erebbot server 2008 will display shooting down unlese I use xl destroy and then create. When I removed vcpu=1 I get black screen with cursor.
I hope someone can help me fix this as any update will cause frozen instance.
