Hi All,

Anyone know if it's possible to pause a VM, detach the block devices, then reattach and unpause? Idea being to be able to have VM's survive a NFS unmount/remount. The only way I'm aware of right now is to migrate to a different host, but would like to do this much quicker than migrations allow for.

Doing an xm pause and then xm block-detach just results in a hang since it's still mounted in the VM, despite being paused.

Thoughts / clever ideas?

- Nathan
