Hi all,

        I'm trying to install win7 64 bit under a hvm domU, using
kernel 3.2.36 64bit dom0, xen 4.2-testing from hg repo, with Tobias
Geiger's nvidia vga passthrough patch.

        When I try to boot with the win7 install disc, it started
loading and shortly after i get a blue screen saying:

        The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant.

        If I change the memory to <=3600, then it works.
Anything above that number doesn't. Feels like some sort of 32bit
vs 64bit issue?

        My xen_caps has hvm-3.0-x86_64, and here's part of the domU
config file:

name = "domu-win"
builder = "hvm"
#memory = 8192
memory = 2048
vcpus = 2
acpi=1
apic=1
pae=1
localtime=1
stdvga=0

        I've omitted things here that shouldn't matter like vnc setting,
disk, etc.

        I haven't even started playing with those pci/vga passthrough
yet, so I haven't put them in the config yet.

        Any ideas?

        Thanks.

Regards,
Howell Tam.
