Hello Darren, I have the same CPU as you, and an ASRock FM2A75 Pro4 motherboard. I had the same problems you described when I tried xen 4.2 or 4.3, but when I compiled the most recent development version of xen from source, I could boot HVM DomUs. Since I hadn't compiled xen before, I found this howto useful, although you might need to adapt it for CentOS: http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Comprehensive_Xen_Debian_Wheezy_PCI_Passthrough_Tutorial I'm curious whether the newest xen works for you, so please let me know.
