This list deals with usage of the "upstream" Xen which comes direct from xenproject.org (and e.g. uses the xl toolstack, not xapi which is used by XenServer), if that is what you want to use then I suggest using your distro's packages, wiki.xenproject.org has Category pages for many large distros with links to specific guides.
