PVHVM won't help you if you cannot run an HVM domain.

You might find some stuff in Jeremy's old pvops kernel tree
http://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/jeremy/xen.git or perhaps in
the Debian Squeeze kernel.

However the chances are that you will need to do some
patching/backporting from whatever you find to your kernel. I'm not
aware of any existing backports.

You could also consider using a newer kernel, e.g. a newer Fedora one
might fit into your environment OK.
