[Xen-users] How to debug Xen hypervisor?

Hello everyone. Apologize if this is not  the right place to my post.
I am using Xen 4.12  and making my own changes to the hypervisor, but it cannot start after that. I would like to know how to debug it.
I google and find gdbsx, but gdbsx seems to debug the domain.
