Ok, going through dmesg I can se that the usb stuff is loading before xen-pciback. This I would suspect to be the issue. could I change this sequence in initramfs? cheers

I know that initramfs tools handles usb drivers specially under some circumstances (for usb root, I suppose), which perhaps breaks blacklisting somehow. Ian.I don't know if this gives me anything new, but then again black-listing ohci_hcd does not work. Maybe this is the reason?
