I thought of that too so I tried another image, same thing. So far I've tried Windows 2008 2012 Server. Both lock up at the same place. I was able to manually install the desktop on 2012 from the ISO so, its not that. On a side note, 2012 is DOG slow! I'll have to see if installing the PV drivers will help that. I'll try Win XP and 2000. The goal is to find a good Win platform that can run Filemaker Server. I wanted the latest OS for security etc but at this point, it looks like a ton of overkill. Here's what I have for a working config file. memory = 8192 maxmem = 8192 name = 'win-2012-server' vif = [ 'ip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx,mac=00:16:3e:0E:63:BA' ] address = 'xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx' netmask = '255.255.255.224' disk = ['phy:/dev/vg_hosting1/win-2012-server_img,hda,w','file:/images/en_windows_ server_2012_r2_vl_x64_dvd.iso,hdc:cdrom,r'] boot = 'dc' on_reboot = 'restart' on_poweroff = 'restart' kernel = "/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader" builder = "hvm" device_model = "/usr/lib64/xen/bin/qemu-dm" acpi = 1 pae = 1 vnc = 1 vnclisten = "0.0.0.0" vncunused = 1 vncpasswd = "xxxxxxxx" In looking through examples of config files for Windows, there area bunch of extra options. Do they really make a big difference? Thanks, Steffan On 3/17/15, 3:37 AM, "Ian Campbell" <ian.campbell@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: >On Mon, 2015-03-16 at 18:18 -0700, Steffan A.
