So do the e1000e devs, as I posted this problem to their mailing list first, they pointed to xen developers. > http://serverfault.com/questions/193114/linux-e1000e-intel-networking-driver-problems-galore-where-do-i-start > suggests two things, some sort of EEPROM update and trying the pcie_aspm=off > kernel parameter. I'd be inclined to try the pcie_aspm thing first. I found this issue back then too. The pcie_aspm=off parameter is there, even now, it didn't change anything. [ 0.000000] Kernel command line: placeholder root=/dev/md1 ro consoleblank=0 pcie_aspm=off [ 0.000000] PCIe ASPM is disabled The EEPROM fix they mention is for 82573V, 82573E, 82573L only. My NIC is 82578DM. Tried anyway. # bash fixeep-82573-dspd.sh enp0s25 No appropriate hardware found for this fixup The script searches for 8086:108b, 8086:108c or 8086:109a. My NIC is 8086:10ef. # ethtool -e enp0s25 Offset Values ------ ------ 0x0000: 00 19 99 a7 f8 51 00 08 ff ff c2 00 ff ff ff ff 0x0010: 31 31 31 30 c3 10 a6 11 34 17 ef 10 86 80 00 00 0x0020: 01 08 00 00 00 00 05 a5 28 00 00 05 00 00 00 0c 0x0030: f4 18 40 0b 43 08 00 00 ef 10 ad ba ef 10 f0 10 0x0040: ad ba ad ba ad ba ad ba 00 80 90 80 00 4e 00 00 0x0050: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ff ff 0x0060: 00 01 00 40 28 13 07 40 ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff 0x0070: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff 00 01 ff ff 6e cc _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xen.org/xen-users
