You haven't said which boootloader you are using, but assuming it is
grub2 then you can press a key (I can't remember which) to edit the
entry.

It will contain a line like:
        multiboot       /xen-4.4-amd64.gz placeholder   ${xen_rm_opts}
(exact versions/names may differ) to which you can add new options.

Doing this will be temporary for this boot only.
