Re: [Xen-users] How to translate a hypervisor virtual address to physical address?

Theoretically yes.Â
Simply, Xen uses P2M and M2P tables for PVs' address translation and shadow page tables (sw way) or virtual MMU (hw way, seems to have instruction level support but I'm not sure about it) for HVMs'. I've seen people doing similar things in published papers but I can't remember more details.
I suggest googling details about xen's memory management for VMs or turn to developers' mailing list. Â

I've installed a nested Xen hypervisor. And the virtual address of hypervisor functions (e.g. hypercall) can be obtained through the debug symbol file of Xen. But how can I translate these virtual addresses into physical ones?
