[Xen-users] pcie passthrough issue with Philips Semiconductors SAA7160

hey everyone,

I believe I have a passthrough issue.

Currently running xen 4.3.2 (kernel 3.2.0-4) and have used passthrough several time om USB controllers (PCIe based) and PCI cards without any issues.

I am now trying to passthrough a new PCIe card. I don't have errors other than the card does not present it self as it does in Dom0 - last line regarding Capabilities and Kernel driver are missing.

In Dom0

lspci -v
01:00.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7160 (rev 03)
Subsystem: Device 6982:0002
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 16
Memory at f7e00000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=1M]
Capabilities: [40] MSI: Enable- Count=1/32 Maskable- 64bit+
Capabilities: [50] Express Endpoint, MSI 00
Capabilities: [74] Power Management version 2
Capabilities: [80] Vendor Specific Information: Len=50 <?>
Capabilities: [100] Vendor Specific Information: ID=0000 Rev=0 Len=088 <?>
Kernel driver in use: pciback

In DomU (ubuntu 14.04)

00:40.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7160 (rev 03)
Subsystem: Device 6982:0002
Physical Slot: 4
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 5
Memory at f3000000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=1M]
Capabilities: [40] MSI: Enable- Count=1/1 Maskable- 64bit+
Capabilities: [50] Express Endpoint, MSI 00
Capabilities: [74] Power Management version 2
Capabilities: [80] Vendor Specific Information: Len=50 <?>

I can post a bunch of info, but I didn't want to post a lot of data that has little/no relevance to the issue.

cheers for any input.
Mik
