... no it's not working - you'll need to give more information.

To start with, what distro are you running for Dom0 ?

What is the networking config for Dom0 ?

What's the output from :
ip addr show
brctl show br0

PS - is it a typo that you have an invalid MAC address ? "y" isn't a valid 
hexadecimal value.
