Hi all, The first issue is that after a kexec, it seems the BDA (Bios Data Area) is cleared or not present. At least, trying to read it returns zero and this causes an issue in head.S I patched head.S to just take the Second issue is the going back to real-mode doesn't work and so I'm using "no-real-mode" for now. I'm not sure if it's supposed to work or not tbh. Now I get a panic becuase of : (XEN) **************************************** (XEN) Panic on CPU 0: (XEN) queue invalidate wait descriptor was not executed (XEN) **************************************** Not really sure what's going on ... There is also a couple of weird messages : (XEN) ACPI: 32/64X FACS address mismatch in FADT - 79e59f80/0000000000000000, using 32 (XEN) ACPI: wakeup_vec[79e59f8c], vec_size[20] (XEN) [VT-D] RMRR address range 7bb24000..7bb32fff not in reserved memory; need "iommu_inclusive_mapping=1"? That may point so some things being screwy. Cheers, Sylvain Munaut, Whatever s.a.
