Hi. I have Linux 4.9.0-8-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.130-2 (2018-10-27) x86_64 GNU/Linux with xen-system-amd64 4.8.4+xsa273+shim4.10.1+xsa273-1+deb9u10. Debian itself boots fine but, xen dom0 boot fails with - megaraid_sas Failed from megasas_alloc_request_fusion. Gave up waiting for root file system - Fails on Dell R7425 with raid 1 ssd   PERC H740P Adapter. I have this same Debian & Xen configuration running happily on a Dell R530 ssd raid 1 PERC H730 raid controller. Can someone help to guide me to debug and capture information to determine the issue? Thanks.

After suggestions from the #debian-xen irc I made changes to increase dom0 memory with the following outcomes :-

Increase from 1G to 4G > exactly the same error

Increase to 8G and increase cpus from 1 to 4 the error changes :-  [Firmware Bug ]: cpu 0 try to use APIC520 for vector 0xf4 but the register is already in use for vector 0x0 on this cpu. Similar for cpu 1 , ending up with Gave up waiting for root file system.

GRUB_CMDLINE_XEN="'dom0_mem=8192M,max:8192M'  dom0_max_vcpus=4 dom0_vcpus_pin"

originally

GRUB_CMDLINE_XEN="'dom0_mem=1024M,max:1024M'  dom0_max_vcpus=1 dom0_vcpus_pin"

Thanks.
