Hi, On a stock Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster) running kernel 4.19.0-6-rt-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT RT Debian 4.19.67-2+deb10u1 (2019-09-20) with Xen 4.11... I keep getting the errors below when trying to boot guests, related to xen_evtchn it seems. They usually don't boot, even though sometimes they do but very rarely. Can someone shed some light? I've tried the next kernel available for Buster, 5.2.0-0.bpo.3-rt-amd64, but I get with exactly the same issues... Thanks, jf -- xl info: host : puck release : 4.19.0-6-rt-amd64 version : #1 SMP PREEMPT RT Debian 4.19.67-2+deb10u1 (2019-09-20) machine : x86_64 nr_cpus : 8 max_cpu_id : 23 nr_nodes : 2 cores_per_socket : 4 threads_per_core : 1 cpu_mhz : 2000.091 hw_caps : bfebfbff:009ce3bd:28100800:00000001:00000000:00000000:00000000:00000100 virt_caps : hvm total_memory : 12279 free_memory : 35 sharing_freed_memory : 0 sharing_used_memory : 0 outstanding_claims : 0 free_cpus : 0 xen_major : 4 xen_minor : 11 xen_extra : .2-pre xen_version : 4.11.2-pre xen_caps : xen-3.0-x86_64 xen-3.0-x86_32p hvm-3.0-x86_32 hvm-3.0-x86_32p hvm-3.0-x86_64 xen_scheduler : credit xen_pagesize : 4096 platform_params : virt_start=0xffff800000000000 xen_changeset : xen_commandline : placeholder cc_compiler : gcc (Debian 8.3.0-7) 8.3.0 cc_compile_by : pkg-xen-devel cc_compile_domain : lists.alioth.debian.org cc_compile_date : Mon Jun 24 10:10:11 UTC 2019 build_id : a2c4043244b6d32b05873fcfae7635cd823bf0bb xend_config_format : 4 Nov 1 12:20:48 puck root: /etc/xen/scripts/block: add XENBUS_PATH=backend/vbd/6/51714 Nov 1 12:20:48 puck root: /etc/xen/scripts/block: add XENBUS_PATH=backend/vbd/6/51713 Nov 1 12:20:49 puck root: /etc/xen/scripts/block: Writing backend/vbd/6/51714/physical-device fd:4 to xenstore.
