Hi

I have configured a dom U with 2GB of RAM:

(config)
maxmem = 2048
memory = 2048

but if I start the domU I see inside only 1.9GB (mem: 2037688). Why?
It is better for a Linux PV domU to "oversize" the RAM to get even size
(whole 2GB) inside the domU?
If yes what is the count of bytes what I should to add?

The same questions for HVM domU's and dom0 RAM limit...

Have you tried similar comparisons on physical machines?
