drat-- that's my fault, again. sorry about this. i missed an inconsistency 
between the installation instructions and the hello world pages.

replace 

$ opam switch 4.00.1+mirage-xen

above with

$ opam switch mirage-xen

...or, more generally, whichever opam compiler switch that you installed the 
mirage-xen, mirari, etc packages to.
