The extra RAM will certainly come in useful for deployments! If you have a setup with a serial cable, something else to experiment with is to upgrade the version of Xen that's supplied to Xen 4.5. The current Xen 4.4-rc had a limitation that half of the board memory can't be assigned to domUs, and I think that got fixed in Xen 4.5.
