I am trying this now. Within a few seconds of starting the flood ping, dom1 rebooted. no messages in the logs to give any hint as to why though. Trying again and I didn't get anything useful either once I started getting noticable corruption.

Just to corroborate, I've been able to pretty reliably induce corruption and I have my Xen kernel compiled with "debug=y". Xen will pretty much continuously spit out "GPF (0004)" messages, but I've only ever seen it output "Bailing" a couple of times on a corruption. Most of the time there's nothing when the corruption starts.
