You can see Xen's boot messages with 'xen_dmesg.py'.

If you're in a graphics screen mode I'm afraid there's no way to
get crash messages out of either dom0 or Xen.

If you're in a text mode, you should see crash dumps from dom0.

You are much better off with a serial line, though.
