I don't understand than VMWARE (ESX)[1] can do it, and XenoXP can not.

For example (under a guest Virtual Vmware) the networking card is an  AMD
PCNET, video card, etc.

We need to create specials drivers for Xen?
why Xen can't do that?
Legal issue? developpement under NDA?
