ok, you're right. Geez, I go away from this for a few weeks and forget 
everything :-)

no, I forgot that there is only one event channel and one controller. I 
have to learn how to look for those other disks :-)

I can point you at the plan 9 server, but if you're not running plan 9 
that is of dubious value :-)
