Using both Intel VT and AMD Pacifica, guests can run unmodified. They have a similar config file format to paravirt, but with a few differences - there are comments in the example*.vmx files. Both technologies are the same from the user point of view, and in turn are similar to paravirt guests (but they have a virtual framebuffer, disks handled in slightly different way, etc).
