Well, real-mode emulation still clearly has some issues. If you want to get a cleaner nightly run, highlighting non-emulation-related issues, you need to build Xen itself with vmxassist=y in the environment, or as a make variable. -- Keir On 25/1/08 08:29, "Li, Haicheng" <haicheng.li@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Hi all, > > This is today's nightly testing report; no new issue. > > Old Issues: > ============================================== > 1) Xen booting may hang at "iommu_enable_translation" on 64bit machine. > http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1151 > > 2) Create hvm guest with base kernel will cause Xen0 crash > http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1152 > > 3) SMP 32PAE Windows guest can not boot > http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1153 > > 4) xm destory PAE vista guest will cause Domain0 hang or Xend collapse > http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1154 > > 5) qemu still exists when we close the qemu window > http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1155 > > 6) [Guest Test] SMP VISTA HVM guest might be blue screen when doing > large I/O in dom0. > http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1117 > > 7) HVM domain performance would downgrade, after doing save/restore. > http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1143 > > 8) XenU guest will hang if booted just after destorying a HVM guest. > http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1139 > > 9) Save HVM domain will cause xend crash. > http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1145 > > Testing Environments: > ============================================== > PAE > CPU : Xeon(r) Processor 7000 series > Dom0 OS : Fedora6 > Memory size : 8G > > IA32e > CPU : Xeon(r) processor 5300 series > Dom0 OS : RHEL4u3 > Memory size : 8G > > VTD(32E) > Service OS : RHEL5.1 > Platform : Core 2 Duo with vt-d supported > > VTD(PAE) > Service OS : RHEL5 > Platform : Core 2 Duo with vt-d supported > > Dom0 S3 > Service OS : RHEL5.1 > Platform : Core 2 Duo > > Details: > ============================================== > Platform : PAE > Service OS : Fedora Core release 6 (Zod) > Hardware : Paxville > Xen package: 16877:31adb5c972d0 > Date: Fri Jan 25 10:01:51 CST 2008 > > 1. 2 PAE SMP VMX domains and 2 xenU domains coexist FAIL > 2. one PAE SMP Linux VMX domain with memory 4G PASS > 3.
