I just updated to a more recent unstable (17826) and got this fatal page fault on boot. I backed off to 17772 (which I'm told was good on another machine) and got the same. I suspect it is something peculiar to my hardware -- an Intel "Weybridge" box -- which I think has VT-d support though I am not currently using it. I can't binary search the exact cset right now, but thought I'd report it.
