RE: [Xen-devel] Time went backwards in domain0.

Timekeeping in a virtual environment is very complicated
and there are many tricks employed to help virtual time
track wall time. These tricks are often very guest
dependent and VMware doesn't support Xen as a guest
(though it may mostly work).

A very good guide describing virtual time issues is:
http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vmware_timekeeping.pdf

The same issues apply to guests running on Xen, but
Xen has solved them differently.
