[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [Xen-devel] Controlling Scheduling Parameters in Xen-3.3.0
Hi, I am newbie to the XEN environment. I am setting up a system (with a single CPU) with 3 individual domains. I am using the sedf scheduler, and specifying its paramters using xm: xm sched-sedf <dom-id> <period> <slice> <latency-hint> <extra> <weight> I am able to create invalid configurations like Dom 0 = slice:4 period:10 Dom 1 = slice:4 period:10 Dom 2 = slice:4 period:10 In my single core machine, I realized that it may not be possible to realize such a configuration since the total request exceeds the capacity. Are there any error messages or warnings generated during such mismatched settings? If so, how do I view them? Thanks for your help, since this will enable me to look for mismatch in dom configuration in the future. Thanks again, Karthik _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
