As far as I know, the traditional qemu tree for xen supports IGD pass-through. Maybe it is good place for you to begin you research.

I'm afraid Ian is right. You'll need to start by digging in and work
from there with specific questions etc. A good starting point would be
perhaps to setup a system using the existing stuff, using the wiki and
search engines etc.

Sorry, that is Gmails default behaviour.
I've been digging in for 8months (on and off) now and have re-written a host (pun) of registers and my progress has not been great. I am trying to take a big step
back (an 8 month step) and really re-consider my approach and understand of the both the problem and the general workings at this level.
So really what I am asking for is a rapport with a developer that worked on XEN's Intel IGD code so that I may compare understandings and approach.
