It was unclear to me from the systemd documentation *exactly* what the socket service file would do with regards to letting systemd claim it has completed so although I was hoping for what you wrote I was unable to confirm it and as such I think we can leave it in the systemd respective scripts for now. The retry open limit thing could still be used to simplify the old LSB scripts. Luis Attachment:
