[Xen-devel] XEN/ARM - Odroid XU - Exynos 5422 based dom0 help

Hello All,
I am extremely thankful for the support that this mailing list has
provided me in the past! Thank you!

I have an Odroid XU3, and its based off Exynos 5422. It has 4 A15s
and 4 A7s in 2 clusters. Both clusters can be on at the same time.

I have successfully got XEN (uboot with HYP enabled) to power on
all 8 CPU cores and it is happy.

The issue is with dom0. The board has a 3.10 linux based kernel
(https://github.com/hardkernel/linux.git -b odroidxu3-3.10.y). While
trying to bring up the secondary CPUs it is poking the PMU registers
on its own, and causing all kinds of grief. I can get it to boot all
the way if the dtb is modified to have a single CPU (and hence does
not do any poking around with the CPUs as it has no secondary CPUs to
boot up)

I believe the psci and smp bits for ARM in it (linux 3.10) might be a
little broken. Is this true? I did see some patches from Stefano wrt
XEN/ARM on the 3.10 tree which are related to SMP on ARM. I know I can
dig deep into it and pick the relevant stuff, but was wondering if
there are experts here who know what patches to pick.

Thanks!
- Suriyan
