Do you really need automation to build test your series after each
individual place?

Would be convenient for sure. I try to test them every time but since the series has been growing and I'm shuffling bits and pieces, apparently I keep missing which one got tested and which one didn't. It's a learning process working with such a large series without automated tests. I honestly prefer github's PR system over mailinglist patchbombs, as dumb mistakes like this can be easily fixed in an open PR without having to open a new one and wasting people's time combing through a new series just to see a minor fix.
