I'm afraid I don't even know where to look for hints towards reasons
for this failure. The places I did look at left me without any clue.

This one looks to have been transient (yet still such transient failures
are a little worrying, too).

linux-linus flights also have an issue:

Volume group "arndale-lakeside-vg" not found
Cannot process volume group arndale-lakeside-vg
