i have the same problem here ...

when i connect a console to the domU after a reboot, i see a kernel-panik, as the kernel could not find the root-device ... after destroying and re-creating the domU the root-device can be found again and domU comes up without a problem.

i use xen 3.0.1 ...

2006/2/19, CosmicPerl.com Support <webmaster@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>:
Hi,
If I ssh into one of my domU's and type reboot, it shuts everything down, but then doesn't get re-created. xm list shows that it is gone. Is this supposed to happen? How can I set it so that the domU get's re-created after reboot from it's console?

Thanks in advance.

Lyle
